Flowers

As today's weddings are unique to each Bride and Groom, it is a good idea to consult and engage a florist six to twelve months prior to the wedding.  Before going to the florist, be sure the color and style of the wedding has been established and if possible, a sample of the material obtained.

The look of the millennium introduces the bride to a full array of styles including the contemporary European designs as well as the more traditional, structured bouquets.  Included in the selection of bouquets, you should consider style, color and season.  Some brides opt for more unusual flowers which include the regal rubrum lilies, the sweet smelling freesia and the elegant dendrobium orchids.

Flowers for the ceremony are determined by the bride.  Because of the vast array of styles and types of flowers, this area is one where your florist can carefully guide you.

Note: The style of floral pieces at the reception will be determined by the individuality of the bride as well as the mood of the wedding.  The choice of reception sites will influence this selection as well.  Your florist will advise you in this area as to the many imaginative and creative uses of flowers to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding.
